Chris Gilmore, Director of Tax

Chris Gilmore serves as Director of Tax for Jacobson Lawrence & Company, providing tax leadership and strategic advisory services to nonprofit organizations, private foundations, and complex tax clients across the firm’s nationwide network of specialty firms.

Chris brings more than 20 years of direct nonprofit tax experience and over 40 combined tax seasons advising high-net-worth individuals and a wide range of business entities. He began his career at Deloitte, where he spent 14 years and advanced to Director, working across East Coast, West Coast, and international offices.

He later served as Director of Tax for one of the largest multinational law firms in the United States, overseeing global tax matters for more than 500 partners. Most recently, Chris spent nearly two decades at a leading Los Angeles–based firm, advising on complex tax structures and managing high-net-worth engagements, including the tax aspects of a multi-billion-dollar healthcare acquisition.
