Next Level Nonprofit is a three-part cohort-based program designed to strengthen your board’s performance and decision-making. It brings together everything we know about what works with boards and adult learning. You will complete the series ready to take action and expand the difference your organization makes.
Next Level Nonprofit bundles our three highly-acclaimed board trainings and wraps around extra learning, support, and peer connection so that your board is more effective in achieving your mission.
What you can expect:
- Three trainings on board fundamentals
- Assignments in advance of each session to get you ready
- Weekly boosting emails to keep you engaged and learning throughout the program
- Washington Nonprofits staff available to provide you resources and advice
Access to peers via a cohort page with resources and discussion - Certificate of completion after you attend each of the three trainings
- All printed materials and coffee/snacks at the in-person workshops

About the Presenters
Judy Andrews, Apex Law Group, graduated from Beloit College with academic honors and from University of Notre Dame Law School. Judy has worked as bond counsel, underwriter’s counsel and borrower’s counsel on special fund revenue bond and nonrecourse revenue bond financings with a particular focus on complex securities and disclosure and 501(c)(3) issues. Her current private practice focuses on representation of nonprofit organizations. An experienced public speaker, Judy has given presentations on a variety of municipal finance and nonprofit topics to the Washington State Bar Association, the Washington Municipal Treasurers Association, the Washington State Society of Healthcare Attorneys, the Nonprofit Assistance Center, and the Seattle University Law School, where she also teaches the nonprofit organizations clinic. Judy’s extensive board experience includes being one of the founding board members, and first Board President, of Wayfind.
