Melanie began her career in public accounting in 2005, where she worked with a variety of both tax and assurance clients, in many different industries before focusing on not-for-profit organizations. She then made the switch to the private sector for about 5 years as the Director of Accounting and Finance at a homebuilding and land development company. While she learned a lot and appreciated being on the other side, she missed her clients and the excitement of public accounting. Now, she is happy to be back in public accounting with a focus on serving not-for-profit clients again.
